A CARLISLE publican who travelled to Fort William with friends for a mountain biking event last June was fined £800 after a sheriff heard details of an incident involving a toy gun.
Charles Knight, of Fenwick Drive, Carlisle, appeared before Sheriff Eilidh MacDonald last week at Fort William Sheriff Court, where he pleaded guilty to a breach of the peace on June 3, 2017.
Procurator Fiscal Robert Weir told the court how the incident had happened at a Lochaber caravan and camping park shortly before 10pm on the day in question.
