THE Ben Cruachan Inn has joined the no-plastic revolution and phased out use of plastic straws from its bar and restaurant.
The idea came about after Lochawe woman Katie Campbell got in touch with the inn and asked why it still had plastic, single-use straws that do little for the environment.
The inn was happy to make the switch and, as of last weekend, will only be using compostable paper straws in drinks.
