As exciting as it sounds to be thrashing tractors in open fields of mud at 4kph, it really isn’t. To be honest, this winter’s done my nut in and not even the odd blast on a dirt bike’s filled the void of road racing. But before I get all depressing and drive you all to tears (I’m trying my best to hold back this end), I’ll switch tone and talk about good times: the first round of the No Limits championship. I wanted to push myself this year, so I threwmy lot in and entered the club’s Pirelli Super Series 600 championship.
It’s my fourth season with the No Limits boys and girls and I bloody love that paddock. Even if I’m constantly abused for my scratty appearance, farmer-like accent (the crime fits the punishment), and rapidly receding hair line. Yep, family genetics really haven’t done me any favours (or my brother Bruce), but thankfully our good friends the Kimes don’t hold the above too much against us, which is why they’ve signed me and Bruce to ride with my mate George Kime on their awesome trio of 600s.
