When your boss invites you over for Sunday lunch, you don't expect to go away with inspiration to build a railway in your garden, but that's what happened to Robert Fickin. Since then, the Bollin Light Railway has grown to fill his garden and become home to many interesting steam locomotives.
Henry Greenly might be the biggest name in the early days of of model railways and we've tracked down a Gauge 3 bridge he had a hand in building and traced it's history.
On the workbench there is a fish'n'chip shop, Leeds tram, railway works and plenty of small wagons. And if the weather allows, we take a look at winter running.
