KIM KARDASHIAN’S SURPRISING SK IN SMOOTHER
The reality star says she will stop at nothing to keep skin ageing at bay, and so far it seems to be working for the 43-year-old mum of four who once told a magazine that she would “eat poop” if it kept her looking young.
Kim’s most recent approach caused just as much of a stir when she revealed on an episode of The Kardashians that she had had a “salmon sperm” facial.
Listed at Miss Elizabeth Hawkes’s Chelsea clinic as Ameela polynucleotides, this popular skin-firming treatment does, in fact, contain salmon sperm.
“Wild salmon DNA, which is used in Ameela’s polynucleotide gel, is known for its regenerative and healing properties, because of its compatibility with cellular receptors,” says Elizabeth, a consultant ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgeon.
The treatment, which can be carried out on the face and body, requires a series of small, precise injections under the skin. These stimulate your own cell growth and collagen production, meaning that the results can actually improve over time.
