NADIYA HUSSAIN
Back with a new TV show teaching us to love our leftovers, the much-loved chef tells us how her confidence has grown over the years
Her clever twists on classics and outside-thebox ideas have become her trademark, making Nadiya Hussain one of the UK’s most successful TV chefs. Now the 2015 Great British Bake Off winner is turning her talents to the theme of “waste not, want not” as she encourages us to love our leftovers.
In a new six-part BBC series, Cook Once, Eat Twice, and its accompanying book, Nadiya shows the country how to create exciting new recipes from scraps.
Since becoming arguably the best-loved winner in the history of Bake Off, Nadiya, who has British-Bangladeshi heritage and turns 40 later this year, has been catapulted into a high-profile career encompassing books, documentaries, cooking shows, a memoir and an MBE.
