FAMOUS FANS ENJOY A BRUSH WITH THE MANE ATTRACTION
There was no kink-shaming at the UK launch of Fenty Hair in Selfridges. In fact, it was all about curl power, thanks to Fenty Beauty founder Rihanna.
The singer and beauty mogul welcomed guests to the Fenty Hair “Mane Street” pop-up at the London branch of the department store, where fans could experience the scents and ingredients of the collection.
Wearing her cuddly new-season Jacquemus teddy-bear coat off the shoulder and belted (left), Rihanna kept her accessories and make-up simple, allowing her hair to shine as the star of the show.
A fan of wigs and weaves, as well as her natural coils, Rihanna launched Fenty Hair in the US and online in June, promising fans that “every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair”.
Unveiling the venture, she said: “You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I’ve had almost every texture, colour and length, from weaves to braids to natural.”
Among those attending the exclusive event was singer Jess Glynne, there with her partner, footballer turned TV presenter Alex Scott (together below).
One of the stars of the Fenty Hair ad campaign, Jess greeted Rihanna with an enthusiastic hug. “To be a part of this and stand confidently with my natural hair out, loud and proud is the dream,” she later posted on social media.
