One of the most exciting developments in recent history for both UFO spotters and the scientific community came in 2020, when the Pentagon officially released three videos of aerial objects that were recorded by military pilots flying fighter aircraft. The US government couldn’t explain what the fast-moving objects in the videos were, and nor can anyone else. It’s stoked the flames of wild theories from those who believe we’re being visited by aliens, but has also put a spotlight on the ordinary scientific reasons behind most UFO sightings.
