Your dad was a karate champion; did he get you into the sport from a young age?
I started at the age of four, influenced by my dad of course. He had started up his club, Kaizen Central Karate Federation, and I naturally went there. He was from a golden era of British karate, so I was surrounded by all these legends of the sport. I wanted to be like them, like my dad.
