Though topped with a feisty merger of I’m Coming Out and Upside Down, then tailed with a similarly dynamic Remember Me, it’s unclear what’s achieved by this collection of remixed hits, except to remind us the originals were sexier and more elegant. It’s My House’s airy spaces are overwhelmed, and 1979’s once streamlined The Boss is rendered formulaic. While No One Gets The Prize maintains its melodramatic introduction, irresistibly demanding a dancefloor, little’s actually gained by the exercise.
