In 2018, A Flock Of Seagulls singer Mike Score –a wildly entertaining character, with bulletproof bravado to match fellow Scouser Ian McCulloch – told Classic Pop he’d got dozens of songs written. Score, he insisted, had about six albums up his sleeve; it was just a case of which one to finish first. He’s certainly had time to gather the material – his band’s last album The Light At The End Of The World was in 1995. Instead, here’s a second collection of orchestral reworkings of old songs, following Ascension three years ago.
