Dolls House and Miniature Scene  |  November 14 (Iss 245)
As you can see we have got some great spooky miniatures in this issue to help celebrate Halloween. Along with a great feature from Jane Kubiesa looking at creating the best scary scene (for those eagle eyed among you we have moved the millinery scene feature to our December issue). Moi Ali also looks at the graveyard for her ghostly contribution and shows us how to make all kinds of different styles of headstone – all fantastic fun!
But for those among you who aren’t attracted to the dark side we have absolutely loads of other exciting things for you. Check out Ali Alamedy and his amazing alleyway miniature scenes, these are so good that you will not believe they are in miniature – what a talent! Olga Alexiou also astounds us with her beautiful miniature food creations – it all looks so delicious!
We also look to the future with the amazing 3D printing that’s available now – is this likely to change the face of miniatures as we know it? I shouldn’t think so, but it might well find its place in our hobby. Moi Ali investigates!
And finally you really must check out the tiniest of crocheted nursery rattles from Mariella Vitale and her nursery series.
