Well Being Journal  |  May/June 2026
Summer arrives differently each year, but its lessons tend to stay the same. The light stretches further into the evening, kitchen windows open again, and the body begins asking for things we often ignore during the colder winter months. More water. More rest. More movement. More sunlight. Sometimes, simply more quiet. And with that slowing down comes awareness. People begin noticing how tired they’ve been. How long they’ve pushed through poor sleep, headaches, brain fog, anxiousness, digestive issues, low energy, inflammation, or the vague feeling that something feels “off,” even when they cannot fully explain why. Lately, I’ve noticed how often conversations drift in that direction. Someone asks, “How are you feeling?” and the answer is rarely just “fine.” Most people seem to have a long list of symptoms to compare.
What strikes me most is not only how common these conversations have become, but how deeply many people are searching for a clearer understanding of what supports genuine wellbeing in a world that often leaves the body overstimulated, under-rested, and out of rhythm.
With that in mind, we welcome you to Well Being Journal Volume 35, No. 3.
