Shorter days and the uncertainty of Covid-19 are not excuses to put your feet up. Here’s a super circuit you can do in the comfort of your own home to get you fighting fit in time for Christmas
With all the current uncertainty, we can’t rely on gyms being open or classes being run (in real life), so it’s a good idea to have a secret weapon to hand, which is where this super circuit comes in. This workout is designed to get your heart rate up while working all your key muscle groups. Focus on your form, especially as you get tired, and keeping your core engaged at all times. The beauty of this workout is that each circuit takes less than five minutes; so stick this on the fridge, and if you don’t have half an hour, just complete Circuit 1 while you’re waiting for the kettle to boil. You’ll have abs of steel by Christmas eve!
► Warm up
March on the spot for one minute. Swing your arms in circles for one minute. Repeat twice.
