ZACK McCOMB made it a competitive hometown debut to remember for Halifax Panthers as the utility back-rower scored one try and set up another in an emphatic victory to leave London Broncos hopping mad in a Good Friday clash that delivered the first Championship game for over a year.
The former Sheffield Eagles man was one of a raft of star performers for Simon Grix’s side, who started their first league game in more than twelve months as they intend to go on, throwing down a gauntlet to their promotion rivals straight out of the gate.
