GOING ON Pi ADVENTURES
A resourceful coder has brought the latest Android 12 to the Raspberry Pi 4 running 2GB or more memory. Based mostly on Lineage OS 19, the Pi build is largely working with a few caveats, including no hardware encoding or decoding, no onboard Pi camera support (USB based cameras will work) and only HDMI video output. It’s also wise to note that SELinux is in permissive mode, so don’t treat this as secure, either. Parts are also released under a non-commercial Creative Commons licence, so it’s only of general interest at this point.
