PD-YES!
I just read LXF283. I’m not exactly current with my reading, but so be it. I’m writing to say how much I liked the article by Nick Peers on editing PDF files. I find it very timely and useful. I have been struggling with this problem, so this article is just what I needed. Rob Solomon, USA

Glad we could be helpful, for once!
Let’s get physical
I’m an online subscriber (digital); is it possible to get the DVD as a download? Or is it only offered to paper magazine subscribers? I’m in Australia, so PDF is much more up to date and affordable here, without the (necessary) big postage costs and delay.

Sadly, increasing media costs meant we stopped producing DVDs after LXF283. You can download the old DVDs (in ISO format) via BitTorrent, but in all honesty, there’s very little reason to be downloading a DVD image full of old distros. Instead, you should download new ones from the official sources. We’ve put some useful links at the top of our archive page: https://linuxformat.com/archives.
