What an amazing 25 years! Since May 2000, Linux Format has been entertaining, informing and educating anyone who would listen about the world of free and open source software and the Linux kernel to this final issue. Over the years, Linux Format has been privileged to have not just the leading big brains at the forefront of development contribute to the magazine, but the leading big brains like Linus Torvalds himself, Richard Stallman, who created GNU and the FSF, Mark ‘Ubuntu’ Shuttleworth multiple times, and the sadly deceased creator of Debian, Ian Murdock.
