Things 3 checks all the
boxes when it comes to playing nicely with macOS. It pulls in Reminders and Calendar events and it has extensions, a Today widget, and Shortcuts actions. It makes it easy to see what you need to do today, while enabling you to share tasks (albeit not as elegantly as Microsoft To Do). It seems expensive, partly because it charges separately for iPhone and iPad apps, but when you add up the prices of the other apps here that charge a subscription for the full feature set, Things 3 compares very favourably.
