THIS LAST MONTH,
I’ve been through ISP hell. I genuinely believe grabbing a bag of wasps, shaking it violently, then shoving my bald head inside would have been a more productive pursuit than the amount of time I wasted trying to get a coherent response from my provider’s customer support department.
I decided to switch back in February. I had a 145Mb/s download speed and around 17Mb/s upload with my old provider. There was no nonsense or bluster, and not a whiff of a problem. The contract was due to end, however, so I decided to swap to a similar package with another company, as it was 50 percent cheaper. I knew it was a risk, the company didn’t get very good reviews, and I was warned against jumping ship.
