Black metal’s most infamous host a three-act blast of blasphemy
HAILING FROM SCOTLAND, via New Zealand, BARSHASKETH have slowly been building a name for themselves in the UK’s increasingly strong black metal scene. They sit somewhere between the orthodox blackened Swedish sound of Ondskapt and the nihilistic grandeur of Mgła. Despite being left a mere fraction of the stage, they play with real intensity and even without the visual trappings of the rest of the bill manage to impress with their obvious quality.
