Model Boats Magazine November 2015 Back Issue

174 Reviews   •  English   •   Hobbies & Crafts (Scale Modelling)
Only £5.99
"This 84 page issue includes an in-depth article about the construction of an outstanding model of HMAS Sydney built by Scott Rice to 1:72 scale and notably, complete with firing missiles. We are also including a new Feature Plan designed by Tony Wright for Work Horse, a very nice and easy to build cabin cruiser model with full building instructions.
Our Readers have excelled themselves this month with models from Kenneth Ruxton, Bill Burtwell and Stephen Eastwick in particular describing his latest solar powered model named Sunsearcher.
Anthony Addams returns with an article about making our models have an additional appeal by adding small, but significant detail to enhance their overall appearance. John Parker in Flotsam and Jetsam looks at some magazines from yesteryear and Dave Wooley in his regular Range Finder column continues his Master Class in 1:96 scale demonstrating how to make super-detailed torpedo tubes for his Deans Marine HMS Skirmisher project.
This magazine has always believed that model boating clubs are the bedrock of the hobby, and the Liverpool, Southport and Kirklees clubs are all featured this month with reports from their Open Days. All these clubs welcome newcomers to the hobby, promote model boating to the general public and deserve our support.
I hope there is something here for everyone with the models featured being an inspiration to all enthusiasts, particularly as we enter the Winter period when new projects are often commenced.
