Down on the docks, workers have been asking for a passenger service on the light railway system for many year. The day has finally arrived with the delivery of the much-hyped train. Alas, budgets are tight, with management announc-ing that there might be some minor compromises over the original specification. Owing to a shortage of coal, motive power comes in the form of an old tractor, with a dizzying top speed of 9mph. And in the event of a fuel shortage, it can easily be adapted to run on used oil from the local fish ‘n’ chip shop.
