Heritage railway’s coming along nicely
This is my latest ‘N’ gauge British-outline layout ‘Scotton’ built on a 4ft by 2ft board. The layout is currently about 95% finished but it needs more detailing: trees, fences, vehicles, people, some artistic touching up, but it already represents a transport and heritage railway with steam, diesel and motor vehicles.
My idea was for a heritage railway but based on eras 3-5. Primarily, diesel and steam was to be seen, with tank engines and small shunters being the main attraction.
