Lochaber take fifth spot in Highland team squash event


FOUR members of Lochaber Squash Club travelled to Gordonstoun School, Moray, on Saturday to take part in the Highlands and Islands Squash Association team championships.

Alan Love, at number one, played first and, despite a valiant effort, lost his opening match. Ian Black also lost his first match of the day. The only player to win his match in the first round was Archie MacGillivray. Lance Marshall, at number four, met his old adversary, William Jappy, and as beaten by a constant barrage of lobs and drops.
