TP-Link Omada EAP772
Modest performance, but this slimline Wi-Fi 7 AP offers lots of features and great remote management at a low price

TP-Link was one of the first networking vendors to deliver a business Wi-Fi 7 AP, with its mighty EAP783 (see issue 360, p103) setting a high standard for wireless performance. SMBs less impressed with its £520 price tag may find the firm’s EAP772 a more appealing alternative as it costs only £133.
Naturally, there are compromises, with the 10GbE port in its bigger brother being replaced by a 2.5GbE multi-gigabit port. It has a much lower BE9300 rating, which claims to deliver up to 573Mbits/sec on its 2.4GHz radio, 2,880Mbits/sec on 5GHz and 5,760Mbits/sec on 6GHz with the ultrawide Wi-Fi 7 320MHz channels enabled.
