RAID levels explained
Ensure your data is protected by choosing the right RAID level for your needs
A redundant array of inexpensive disks (RAID) lets you use multiple hard disks together in a single pool to boost capacity, data security or both. RAID0 is the most basic and is known as striping. Data is spread evenly across all the disks you have installed, so the total capacity is the total of the hard disks you have installed.
