AMD has released two versions of the RX 9060 XT: one with 8GB of RAM, the other with 16GB. At current street prices, this pitches the cheaper version directly against Nvidia RTX 5060 cards and means the 16GB version sits alongside 8GB versions of the RTX 5060 Ti; if you want 16GB editions of that card, you’ll pay a minimum of around £400.
Both versions of the RX 9060 XT have identical specs, aside from the 16GB version’s extra dollop of memory and slightly higher TGP (160W versus 150W). They use the same GPU die with identical clock speeds, with their main advantage over the RX 7600 and RX 7600 XT being their new RDNA 4 architecture and faster clocks.
