Let’s get the painful bit out of the way: the Nothing Phone 3 costs £200 more than 2023’s Nothing Phone 2 (see issue 349, p72). That puts it head to head with the Samsung Galaxy S25 and Google Pixel 9, but as usual with Nothing it offers a specification, a design and, most of all, an attitude all of its own. The standard model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage – a good amount for a phone of this price – or you can go up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage for another £100, which isn’t bad for twice the storage capacity and a third more RAM.
Whether you choose the black or white finish, the Phone 3 makes a visual statement.
With its transparent back panel, exposed screws and as many greebles as the sides of a starship, it’s unmistakably a Nothing handset.
