As the nights close in, you might think the tourer market would quieten down – but in fact, it’s still positively vibrant. Lockdowns and travel restrictions seem to be encouraging folk to look forward to better times in 2021. So there’s still not much pre-owned stock on the forecourts. That means if you’re selling, you don’t need to jump at the first offer. When a friend recently ordered a new Elddis Crusader, the salesman said he would be better off selling his 2008 Ace Firestar privately. But when it came time to put cash on the table, the dealer needed more stock and upped his price on the Ace. Result? One very happy friend!
