FLAMING GOOD!
I spent last night at Bergen PAC in Englewood, NJ absolutely awestruck by the wealth of talent in the line-up of artists in the In The Heat Of The Moment show. My love of prog would have probably begun with The Beatles, but hearing Yes in 1970 made me a lifetime fan, and this concert was prog heaven. Not only that, but I’ve been a Curved Air fan since Airconditioning, and I got to see them live for the first time in my life! Anyway, the reason I’m writing to you is about something that occurred to me. Thijs Van Leer, Geoff Downes and Sonja Kristina are all “Keepers of the Flame” of their respective groups. They are the only ones who have been there from the start and all the way to today. How about a spread on this? (And if I’m not being too presumptuous, a sub-story about Harry Whitley’s incredible renditions of Asia songs?)
