In late January 2024, Microsoft released an Insider Preview of Windows Server 2025 that seemingly supports the sudo command. Naturally, experimental features are just that – currently, the Windows sudo can’t even be invoked from the command line. Still, if and when it can be, it will simply be the latest chapter in the ongoing story of Linux integration into Windows.
