Since The Hobbit, books have often provided inspiration for computer games, but for Swedish author Lucas Lund, it’s worked in reverse. “I first played The Detective Game when I was 11 years old and it really caught me,” he says. “I liked the combination of good graphics and mystery, and the search for a killer who is obviously still in the building and highly active made it scary. The scene with the crushed Cynthia under the piano is iconic!”
