CONVERSION CAPERS
THE MANY DIFFERENT FACES OF PANZA KICK BOXING
ATARIST
◼︎ Pascal Jarry developed the game originally on the Atari ST, alongside Marc de Florès (graphics) and Michel Winogradoff (sound). Here everything is as it should be: the graphics are crisp, detailed and colourful, the animations are fast, the controls are precise. To this day, this is Pascal’s favourite version.
AMIGA
◼︎ The Amiga version ofPanza Kick Boxing, programmed by Pascal’s Loriciel colleague Nicolas Massonnat, was developed alongside its Atari ST brother, released at the same time, and is virtually identical to it. The Amiga game sold better than the ST version, though, so this is the one most people are familiar with.
