SWINGING FOR GLORY
IMAGINE’S GAME DID ACTUALLY MAKE IT ACROSS THE POND
■ Although World Series Baseball was not initially conceived for a US audience, the game did end up being released in North America. As well as being released across the pond for the Commodore 64 and 128, it was converted for the PC Booter by Randall Don Masteller. In each case, it went by the name The Slugger – a reference to the player who consistently hits for power and achieves doubles and home runs.
