ROCKS, MINERALS AND JEWELRY
What began as an industry name used to describe a yellow variety of the mineral beryl has become commonplace to describe gem-quality golden-yellow beryl specimens, such as this one. Initially, this variety of beryl was found in localities in both the Erongo Region of Namibia and Litchfield County, Connecticut. This specimen weighs 14.31 carats.
