Q For many happy years, our house had a lovely, secluded garden next to a plot with mature trees. But now a block of flats has been built behind us and I feel conscious of eyes looking down on me. How can I recreate a sense of privacy?
a It’s such a shame that a huge block of flats has replaced mature trees in the plot next to your garden. This must have come as a shock to the system, especially after living for many years with an outside space that was relatively secluded. I feel your pain.
