TO THE RIGHT OF THIS PAGE IS something very special – the first instalment of a brand new SFX comic strip! “The Death Of Fifi” is a six-part story that continues and expands the world first seen in the 1988 Doctor Who serial “The Happiness Patrol”, written by former Who script editor Andrew Cartmel and illustrated by Adrian Salmon (Doctor Who Magazine, 2000 AD).
This comes courtesy of Cutaway, who have been producing comics based on characters and worlds in and around the Doctor Who universe, licensing them from the original creators. Even better, you don’t need to know anything about the characters to enjoy them.
