EPISODES 1.01-1.10 Many said Isaac Asimov’s Foundation stories are unfilmable. Some, no doubt, will point at this series as proof of that. While not entirely successful, this is a valiant attempt to refashion the tales not just for the screen but also modern sensibilities. For a start, Asimov’s Foundation had not one speaking female character, so some gender reassignment at the very least was always going to be necessary.
