SHUDDER While it’s a big change in form, its logical that the follow-up to the fascinating 2019 Black horror documentary Horror Noire would involve actually making some Black horror. This anthology film of the same name comprises six shorts with Black writers, directors and stars. Most of the budget seems to have been spent on a number of familiar faces, including Lenora Crichlow, Rachel True and Tony Todd. But aside from the good-looking “The Lake”, the budget constraints are obvious and occasionally hilarious.
