Roger the Alien, the sometimes reluctant additional housemate of the Smiths in American Dad!, is hard to pin down for conversations with sci-fi mags. Aside from the fact that the FBI have an entire floor dedicated to recapturing him since he escaped from Area 51 (which, Galactica 1980 disclaimer, totally doesn’t exist, okay?), he has so many personas that even he can’t quite keep up – and some of them seem to have their own lives outside of Roger himself.
We do know that he likes wine, he’s over 1,601 years old, is a fan of Bananarama and isn’t shy of donning a frock (Is this not our editor? – Ian). He was in a same-sex relationship with another member of his species, Zing – but he won’t talk about that. He’s also got a son, Rogu, who formed from Roger’s tumour. Awwww. But what does he think of our Earth-bound Pride customs and depictions of science fiction?
