There’s also a second of TL Huchu’s Edinburgh Nights novels, set in a fascistic alternate UK where magic is real. We liked opening entry The Library Of The Dead, awarding it★★★★★ and calling it “unpredictable, sometimes horrifying, often hilarious”.
