Niamh Algar, 29, has come a long way since her first screen role in the 2011 TV show Reabhloid. In the years since, the actor has appeared in movies such as Calm With Horses and The Last Right and telly shows such as The Bisexual and Pure. Recently, she’s wowed us with headline turns in Shane Meadows’s The Virtues and Prano Bailey-Bond’s critically lovebombed horror Censor, where she starred as Enid Baines, a film censor haunted by memories of her sister’s disappearance.
She can also be seen in last year’s Guy Ritchie heist thriller Wrath Of Man and as undercover police officer Lizzie James in Channel 4’s true-life drama Deceit. She’s currently starring in season two of Aaron Guzikowski’s Raised By Wolves and can next be seen in Netflix’s The Wonder, alongside Florence Pugh, Toby Jones and Ciaran Hinds.
