THE CAT’S WHISKERS
Gillian Humphrey fell for the ami’ cat in issue 140 – but she decided to make him a tabby! We love the stripes of blue throughout this green kitty, and the tiny collar with a bell is so sweet. Thank you so much for sharing, Gillian. We’re sure this cutie will make for a great cuddle companion.
VEST IN SHOW
The granny square tank top from issue 139 looks so sharp when layered over a white shirt, as hookster Tracy Woods did here. She says this was a lovely, easy pattern to follow, and that the Stylecraft Softie yarn was wonderful to work with. We’re so pleased hat you had such a fantastic experience making this, Tracy!
TIME OF THE SEASON
Nothing says autumn like a good pair of mitts! Lynn Faulkner made this colourful set using Jane van den Bosch’s pattern from our Hook to Hook challenge in issue 140. They’re made with a lovely granny square on top and cosy ribbed edges. Lynn stitched them so neatly, and the colours look fantastic. Well done, Lynn!
