“I decided to try a vegan diet back in February 2016 after watching a couple of documentaries (Forks Over Knives and Fat Sick & Nearly Dead) on Netlix. I’d already been vegetarian for 26 years and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Every time I heard about veganism I also heard how great it made you feel and I thought ‘I could do with some extra energy!’. To be honest, I thought I’d last a couple of weeks before giving into the cheese cravings or getting bored from lack of options. How wrong I was as it’s now been almost three years and going vegan has turned my life around. I’ve never felt healthier, my hair and nails are thicker, and my eyes and skin clearer. I don’t crave cheese or eggs, in fact I now ind them repulsive. It took a month to get fully into the diet and then I started buying crueltyfree products like shampoo, cleaning products, etc, and when my leather coat wore out I replaced it with a cotton one.
