■ The current iMac design has been gently bobbing along since its introduction in 2021, when Apple moved it across to its own M1 chip. It skipped over the M2, getting a refresh in 2023 for the M3 and another one now with the M4. But there’s no M4 Pro option, which is probably due to the thin form factor.
