The Mac Mini is Apple’s least talked-about computer but one of our favourites: with prices starting at £649 it’s long been the most affordable Mac, partly because you have to add your own monitor, mouse and keys.
Now, this isn’t the most affordable Mini – quite the opposite, in fact: with the M2 Pro chip it’s at least twice the price – but it’s a flying machine. In benchmarks, it outperforms the much more expensive first-gen Mac Studio and leaves even the fastest M1 MacBooks floundering.
