TRY THIS IF YOU LIKED…

CODENAMES

Codenames is the quintessential clue-giving, word-guessing game. Players are spymasters, helping their team contact their spies by giving single-word clues to their secret codenames. It’s a tough ask, trying to connect words together without accidentally leading your teammates towards the innocent bystanders, or even worse – the assassin. There are themed versions with different collections of words to try out, including Marvel and Disney. The classic team version is fantastic, but can result in quite a bit of downtime for some players, while others think of clues and then choose their guesses. The two-player version, Codenames: Duet, is perfection. There is also a lovely app with daily challenges, as well the interface to play with friends or strangers without being in the same room. If you’ve enjoyed Codenames and want to try something similar, here are a few ideas.
