DEATH EATERS, DEMENTORS & CREATURES
I n last month’s guide, we cast our painting magic on Harry, Ron, Hermione and the Order of the Phoenix from the Harry Potter Miniatures Adventure Game. Here, in part two, we venture to the darker side of the wizarding world to bring a formidable selection of their foes alive.
Knight Models’ figures for the loyal Death Eaters – followers of Lord Voldemort (sorry, ‘He Who Must Not Be Named’) – the soulsucking Dementors of Azkaban prison and fantastic beasts including a troll and the giant Acromantula spiders are similar in quality and detail to Harry and his allies.They are characterful sculpts, instantly recognisable from the source material. But they are also fragile; the tiny, thin wands are just waiting to be snapped, and that’s what they did. We had a few wand-related accidents with the Death Eaters – not too much trouble if they’re for a collection, but if you’re gaming with them this could become a regular occurrence.
