FORD WAS ONE of the earliest mainstream car makers to bring an electric SUV to the UK, with 2021’s Mustang Mach-E. That was joined late last year by the smaller but no less evocatively named Capri, and now it’s time to meet Ford’s smallest electric model yet.
No doubt, the brand hopes that being based on the deservedly popular petrol-powered Puma small SUV will give the fully electric Gen-E version a leg up. It’s distinguished by its filled-in front grille and white ‘PUMA’ lettering on the tailgate, and by two bespoke paint colours: Electric Yellow and Desert Island Blue.
